Heidi
Richards is the President & CEO of Women
of Wisdom®
and the Founder and CEO of the Women’s ECommerce Association International with a mission for “Helping Women do Business on
the WEB!.” With almost 30 years experience running successful small
businesses, she understands the needs and challenges small businesses
face, in particular those run by women. She has been studying ecommerce
for more than five years and has been running two very successful
ecommerce sites, sharing her knowledge of leadership, sales and
marketing in three of the four e-zines she writes and publishes for
retail florists, nonprofit leaders and a variety of small business
enterprises. It is her work in promoting ecommerce among women that got
the attention of Jerrilyn Thomas, CEO of the International Virtual
Women’s Chamber of Commerce. In January 2005 she was named one
of the Top 50 Virtual Women Shaping
the Internet for 2005. |

Richards, has a very eclectic educational background. With a masters
degree in psychology and a graduate of the United States Academy of
Private Investigation she is the only person in the world to have earned
all six professional designations; Certified Laughter Leader, Connected
Professional Planner of Meetings, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified in
Training and Human Resource Development , Certified Master Designer, and
Certified Hospitality Leader. She is the author of eight books
including PMS Principles

Budget, “Yes,”

Heidi has three grown daughters– one of which is her business partner, two grandchildren and a wonderful and loving significant other. Her pastimes include surfing (the world wide web), reading, writing, motorcycling, traveling and being involved in FUNdraising events. Heidi is also an award-winning author, entrepreneur and life and business coach. Among her dozens of accolades, she has been recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as Business Woman of the Year, National Top Ten Business Woman of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association, The Sam Edwards Award for Speaking, Women in Business South Florida Advocate of the Year by the SBA and in 2004 was inducted into the Broward County Women’s Hall of Fame. In 1993 the Mayor of Miramar even named a day after her – June 26th is Heidi Richards Day! |
